hope
One of the top maths students in my year at Lincoln is now training as a WPC. Her dad is a farmer somewhere in Oxfordshire. Recently, they were in the pub together and he was chatting to a woman at the bar. ‘”I’m a farmer,” he said. “What do you do?”
“I’m Jo Wiley,” she replied. “I’m a Radio One presenter.”
He pointed to his family’s table. “You see my daughter over there? She got a First in Mathematics from Oxford University, and now she’s training as a policewoman. So it just goes to show, there’s hope for everyone.”
Cheers!

There’s hope for her yet
